Square Stand Restaurant Station brings a restaurant-ready counter setup into one U.S. kit: Square Stand (2nd generation, USB-C), a cash drawer, a Star Micronics receipt printer, an Ethernet impact printer for kitchen tickets, and paper. It suits a bakery, café, pizzeria, bar, or quick-service counter that needs a fixed ordering point while staff can add Square Handheld for table or line-side service.

You supply a compatible iPad and internet connection. The Stand swivels toward guests for tips and payment, supports chip and contactless payments, and can keep accepting eligible payments briefly offline, but it does not contain a printer and offline transactions must be uploaded within 24 hours.

The countertop Stand swivels 180 degrees so a guest can review the total, add a tip, and pay. Built-in EMV chip and NFC acceptance covers chip cards and contactless wallets including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay; Cash App Pay is available through Square Point of Sale.
The included receipt printer handles customer receipts while the included Ethernet impact printer is suited to kitchen tickets. For cafés and counter-service restaurants, the optional Square Handheld can extend ordering and payment away from the fixed station.
The Stand uses the iPad for Wi-Fi, can reach Ethernet printers over the local network, supports Bluetooth accessories, and includes a USB hub for up to three USB-A accessories. Eligible offline payments can be taken during a connection interruption, but the iPad must reconnect within 24 hours or those transactions can be declined.
Square Point of Sale is available without a monthly subscription. The Stand itself has no built-in printer; this kit solves that with separate receipt and impact printers. The countertop unit depends on the iPad for network access and is not a self-contained tablet POS.
